Wedding Photography

  • How far in advance do I need to book my wedding with you?

    The earlier the better. I prefer to have a month's notice in order to have time to meet the couple, see the venue, and plan for the big day including any special equipment or personnel needed. I will of course try to accommodate requests with shorter time frames, but may already be booked.
  • What information do you need from me before the big day?

    A 'must-have' shot list, an itinerary of the day, and directions to the venue(s) at a minimum. Ideally we'll sit down at our pre-wedding consult to cover in-depth all of those small details that will make your wedding photography successful.
  • What type of equipment do you use?

    Canon DSLRs - 5dMKIII as my main body with a 7D Mark II as backup. as needed.
  • Do you shoot destination weddings?

    Yes, with a minimum of 2 months advance notice, we can be available for up to 7 days. If your timeframe is longer than that, we'll need a minimum of 3 months notice and need to discuss the dates you have in mind.

    Please note that for destination weddings, travel, lodging, and meals for the photographer and any assistants required are covered by the client in addition to daily fees. Daily fees will be negotiated based on your requirements for the destination wedding.
  • Can you provide references to past weddings you've shot?

    Yes, on request. You're also welcome to browse our Weddings and Events gallery here on our site to see what styles of photography we've shot.

Photography Services FAQ

  • What packages do you offer with your photography services?

    We offer everything from individual prints to customzied packages for your event. You are welcome to either browse through the different products we have available when shopping on our site, or we'll put a custom package for you together when we sit down to discuss capturing your event through photography.
  • Do you shoot on location, or only in your studio?

    We shoot on location and in our studio, depending upon your needs. Our studio is run out of our home. Any indoor or outdoor location can be suitable for a photoshoot, weather permitting. Note travel charges may apply for locations outside of the Spokane area.
  • How much do your services cost?

    All pricing is by contract to ensure we meet each other's expectations throughout the event. Please contact me at 509-979-6288 or jerome.higbee@gmail.com to discuss pricing and other information regarding my services.
  • When will I get my photos?

    It takes 1-2 days for our labs to process your prints, and then 2-7 days for shipping, depending upon the service you choose. If you have access to digital downloads of your photos, you can download them immediately and use a local printing service (Walmart, Costco, etc) to have your photos printed.
  • How long will you store my photos for me?

    We will store photos in your password-protected gallery for a minimum of 3 months after the date we post them. If you have access to digital downloads of your photos, you are welcome to download any or all of them during that time.
  • Do you shoot video as well as still photography?

    Yes.

  • Help! I can't see my photo gallery.

    You'll need to use the link and password we sent to you in order to access your private gallery. For your privacy, we do not offer access to your gallery from our web site itself. If you do not have the link and/or password, please contact us using the link to the left.
  • What's with the name for your web site?

    We just really like the Chordettes I guess.
